Feyenoord shock Wa All Stars

Feyenoord Academy caused a major upset in the ongoing MTN FA Cup after whitewashing highly-fancied Wa All Stars 3-0 in an exciting Round of 64 encounter at Gomoa Fetteh last Saturday.

Kennedy Boateng struck in the first half to give the Division One League campaigners a head start in the keen contest before Iddrisu Cato fired two rapid goals after recess to end the FA Cup dreams of the premiership side.

After the game, an elated technical director of Feyenoord, Coach Sam Arday, congratulated the team for putting up that impressive performance against a well-drilled Premier League side. 

He, however, used the opportunity to caution the players not to get carried away by that sweet victory but remain focused in order to go far in the competition.

Coach Arday told the Daily Graphic that despite the win, he believed that there was more room for improvement and therefore urged the technical team and the playing body to work harder in the coming year.
