The pick of the weekend is certainly the clash at the Sunyani Coronation Park this afternoon between Accra Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars who finished as runners-up in the league.Organisers of the competition The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), have postponed the clash between defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Premier League winners Wa All Stars, originally fixed for tomorrow, to November 14 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. The postponement is to enable Ghanaians watch tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier between Ghana’s Black Stars and the Pharaohs of Egypt in Alexandria. The competition provides a fine opportunity for participants to pit their strength against each other, as most clubs have commenced their pre-season preparation in readiness for next season’s Premier League campaign.Hearts have a caretaker coach Henry Lamptey Wellington who will test his players against the Dormaa-Ahenkro side, after clashing twice in the league without a winner emerging. Perhaps the neutral Coronation Park would provide a level playing grounds for both sides.MTN FA Cup champions Bechem United, who are in the same group with Hearts and Aduana, will stand by this weekend and meet Hearts in their next match.Tarkwa-based Medeama SC are on standby this weekend and will meet either Kotoko or All Stars.
