Ghana’s Black Princesses will play host to Equatorial Guinea in the second leg of their final World Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Princesses lost the first leg 0-1 in Malabo on January 11 and, therefore, need to win by a two-goal margin to book a place at the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup in Canada later this year.

The Princesses are poised to qualify under Coach Bashir Hayford in order to make amends after the 2012 fiasco by their predecessors.

Training in Obuasi

They will shift their training base to the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium ahead of their Sunday’s 2014 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup return leg qualifier against Equatorial Guinea.

Ghana must overturn a 0-1 deficit from the first leg played in Malabo two weeks ago.

Ghana are chasing a third successive appearance at the finals since their debut in 2008.

The Black Princesses are fighting for one of the two slots for Africa.
