The 19-year-old was loaned to Lille last season  but featured in only a handful of games for the Ligue 1 club.

Pep Guardiola, has added his name to Yeboah’s list as he begins his new managerial role at the English Premiership side.

Yeboah told the Graphic Sports how delighted he was to receive the call-up from Guardiola, saying he would do his best to justify the confidence reposed in him by the former Bayern Munich coach.

“I had an invite from  Coach Guardiola to make myself available for the pre-season. I was informed my name was part of the list of players to be present for the programme and I am so happy for that.

“I had lots of contacts from teams around the world but to be recalled by Coach Guardiola is for me dream come true and I want to stay at Manchester to play” he said.

The youngster is expected at Manchester City next week but he is likely to stay  to feature in the final qualifier for the Black Satellites against Senegal.

“I am supposed to leave the country on June 25 but my Coach Didi Dramini is trying to work this out for me so that  I can play our last qualifier for the African Youth Championship against Senegal before I leave”, Yeboah explained.
