Ghana's relay team ready for race tomorrow

The Ghanaian quartet who are expected to compete in the race appear to be in high spirit ready to make the country proud.

In a tweet by Sean Safo-Antwi one of the sprinters to participate in the relay expressed their readiness for the challenge ahead.

“The wait is over! Tomorrow is the day of competition, Team Ghana we are ready! Tune in tomorrow for 4x100 Relay”, he twitted.

The country has never won any medal in sprint at the Olympics but this quartet are determined to change the narrative by making the country proud.

They will be hoping to replicate their feat during the 2019 Africa Games when they beat other strong contenders to win gold in the final

Safo-Antwi, Josep Paul Amoah, Martin Owusu-Antwi and Benjamin Azamati finished the 4x100m final in a time of 38.30s ahead of Nigeria and South Africa to win the continental competition.
