A board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, is rubbishing suggestions that the club is in dire financial situation and cannot not pay their players. 

He argued that the Phobians were in a better financial situation than any other club in the country because of the support of their board chairman, Togb Afede XIV. 

"At the moment the club is financially sound so the question of the boys (players) not being paid is all rubbish", Dr Tamakloe stressed in an interview with the Graphic Sports last Monday.

Chinese contractors, China Jiangxi Corporation for International Economic and Technical Cooperation, officially handed over the Cape Coast Stadium to the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) in Accra yesterday.
