George Afriyie has been named the vice-president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) at a the meeting of the Executive Committee (ExCo) yesterday.
The president of the GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi, named Afriyie as the vice-president for a four-year term at the first meeting of the newly-formed Executive Committee to discuss the direction of Ghana football for the next four years.
He takes over from Fred Crentsil, who lost out at the recent ExCo elections on the ticket of Techiman City.
