The 2017 edition of the annual e.TV Ghana & Japan Motors corporate run and walk event has been launched at the Silver Star Tower with a special focus and support to the blind (Visually Impaired) in Ghana.

The Corporate Run and walk event which is scheduled for September 21 at the Silver Star Tower is aimed at bringing together corporate institutions in Ghana to promote health and networking through team-building and physical activities. This is another way of celebrating Kwame Nkrumah’s birthday.

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has disclosed that money was not a factor in his decision to join Turkish club Kayerispor because he earned 7.5 million euros during his time in China with Shanghai SIPG.

Gyan joined Chinese Super League giants Shanghai SIPG in 2015 in a two-year deal which reportedly earned him in excess of £162,000 per week in wages.

The Black Stars B Team, which is made up of players from the domestic league, will commence a one-week residential camping ahead of their two-leg qualifiers with Burkina Faso which will be played over a two-week period in August.
