Hearts Ladies accused of jinxing players after having sexual relations with them

Some fans of champion club, Accra Hearts of Oak are up in arms against the female supporters wing of the team, accusing them of jinxing the players by having sexual relations with them.

According to a section of the Hearts fans, the female supporters wing - Hearts Ladies - have brought bad luck to the team as a result of this practice which has negatively affected performances on the pitch.

Olivans fitness club opens at Agbogba

Former Black Stars forward, Augustine Arhinful, has advised people with interest in sports-related exercises to seek medical advice before indulging in such fitness workout.

Arhinful, who was speaking at a ceremony to mark the inauguration of the plush Olivans Fitness Club and Laundry, situated at Agbogba in Accra, also urged participants to take their fitness exercises serious.

Eight register for Indece tennis festival

Eight corporate institutions have registered to participate in Saturday’s corporate tennis festival organised by the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) to commemorate Ghana’s 60th Independence anniversary.

Sharks hold All Stars in Wa

Ghana's champions, Wa All Stars, looked a far cry of the team that achieved the unlikely last season as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Premier League debutantes, Elmina Sharks, at the Wa Stadium yesterday.

Floorball Team donates to Special Olympics

The International Floorball Team (IFT) has presented a cheque for GH¢4,000 to the Board of Special Olympics Ghana to help  prepare the Special Olympics athletes towards the 2017 Austria World Special Olympics Winter Games.

Blind football: German national team manager holds training seminar in Accra

A total of 30 participants drawn from public universities have began a week-long training in the fundamental rules of blind football to help promote the sport in the country.

The workshop was organised at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra Stadium by the newly-formed Blind Football Federation for coaches, referees, players and support staff to promote the sport and to put in place a formidable team that will represent Ghana at  international tournaments in the future.

Former Deputy Minister, 5 others accused of incurring $380,000 NSA debt

Two members of a procurement committee formed during the All Africa Games in 2015 have called for the sanction and surcharge of the former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Vincent Oppong Asamoah, and five others, for wilfully violating the Procurement Act, 2002 and incurring a judgment debt of $380,000 and GHC45,000 being awarded to Litina Travel and Tours.
