10 players honoured with NASCO awards in Women's Premier League match week 14

Match Week 14 of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League was filled with thrilling encounters, as players showcased their talent across the Northern and Southern Zones. 

Beyond the intense battles on the pitch, NASCO Electronics rewarded ten exceptional players with electronic appliances for their outstanding performances.

In a fiercely contested fixture, Jonina Ladies secured a 2-1 victory over Faith Ladies, with Joyce Atimbila, the hero of the day, scoring a brace to clinch the NASCO Player of the Match award.

At the Tema Sports Stadium, Halifax Queens and Soccer Intellectuals played out a goalless draw, with Gloria Fosua of Halifax emerging as the best player.

Similarly, the clash between Police Ladies and Berry Ladies also ended in a stalemate (0-0), with Gifty Amewoyi from the home side earning the top individual prize.

Despite Epiphany Warriors suffering a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Hasaacas Ladies, it was their player, Beline Nyarko, who shone brightest and was adjudged the best player.

The Northern Zone produced equally competitive fixtures, with Sung Shining Ladies drawing 1-1 against FC Savannah. Yesdadatu Sulemana of Sung Shining Ladies was named the most outstanding player.

In another goalless draw (0-0) between Tamale Super Ladies and Northern Ladies, the visiting side’s Doris Akaheeh took home the NASCO Player of the Match prize.

A narrow 1-0 victory for Fosu Royal Ladies over their opponents saw Eunice Pokuaa crowned the best performer.

Meanwhile, Dreamz Ladies fell 1-2 to Kumasi Sports Academy, with Gertrude Amoafoh emerging as the standout player.

In a high-scoring thriller, Supreme Ladies edged out Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-2, with Belinda Kpoglo earning the Player of the Match accolade.

Each of the ten award winners received a 3-in-1 NASCO blender and a standing NASCO electric burner as part of their prizes, a gesture aimed at recognising and encouraging outstanding performances in the Women's Premier League.

With the league entering its crucial stages, fans can expect even more exhilarating performances as players continue to battle for glory.
