Adotey takes over from Enos Adepah who was relieved of his position three weeks ago after a mutual termination of his contract.
Coaching career
Prior to his newest appointment, Adotey was a former Technical Director of Medeama FC, and onetime head coach of the Under-17 female national team, Black Maidens. He is currently the assistant coach of the Under-20 national male team, black Satellites.
Former Ghana international Yahaya was a former coach of Division One sides, Nzema Kotoko and New Edubiase United.
Commenting on the appointments, Mr Elloeny Amande, CEO of Karela United, said the club settled on the two coaches based on their in-depth knowledge of the game and the wealth of experience they possessed.
“We are excited to have them in our fold and we are ready to give them all the necessary support.”
Karela are currently deep in the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League log and just a spot above bottom club, King Faisal. — GNA
