Afro-Arab to name sports complex after UAE Ambassador
A multi-purpose sports complex being constructed by the Afro Arab Group of Companies in Kokomlemle, Accra will be named after the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Ghana,H.E. Khalifa Yousif Alzaabi.
This was disclosed by Alhaji Salamu Amadu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Chairman of the Group when the Ambassador visited the Corporate Headquarters of the Afro Arab Group in Accra.
He said the facility will be named the ‘Emirates - Khalifa Yousif Alzaabi - Afro Arab Sports Complex’.

The Afro Arab Group is a Ghanaian owned business entity founded in January 2007 by Alhaji Salamu Amadu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Chairman of the Group.
The Group is a member of the Ghana Gulf Chamber of Commerce Chamber (GCCC).

H.E. Khalifa Yousif Alzaabi was impressed with the Group business strategies and performance and assured the CEO of his support to promote the Group.
The Afro Arab Group has six thriving subsidiaries since its establishment with a decade of successful track record in Ghana and poised for international business partnerships and investments.
The subsidiaries are the Afro Arab Company which services include, sales and rentals of earth moving machines, Haulage and Supply of General Goods Services and Afro-Arab Microfinance Company Limited which is a tier-2 microfinance company licensed by the Bank of Ghana, which began operations in 2007 and 2013 respectively.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Amadu has been named the Most Influential Young Person of the Year in Ghana by the Confederation of West African Youths.
