Asante Kotoko sign Guinea-based Ghanaian defender Joseph Ablorh
Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of Joseph Ablorh on a two-year contract, following the successful completion of his medical examination in Accra.
The Ghanaian centre-back joined Kotoko from Hafia FC in Guinea.

Ablorh, 26, was unveiled by the club on Wednesday, July 17, ahead of their highly anticipated clash against archrivals Hearts of Oak in the 2024 Democracy Cup.
"Joseph Ablorh was a standout player for Hafia FC, recognized for his strong tackling, aerial prowess, and leadership qualities. His stellar performances in the 2020/2021 Guinean top-flight season earned him a spot in the Team of the Season, underscoring his reliability and impact on the field," said the club in an official statement.
"Now returning to his homeland, Ablorh is eager to make a significant contribution to Asante Kotoko,” the statement added.
Kotoko coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum also expressed his delight with the new signing in an official statement on the club's website.
“We are thrilled to welcome Joseph to Asante Kotoko. At 26, he brings a blend of experience and athleticism that will strengthen our defensive line. His skills and leadership will be pivotal as we strive to elevate our team and achieve our goals," he said.
