Black Queens' Boye-Hlorkah named Forest Women’s March Player of the Month

Black Queens and Nottingham Forest Women forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has been crowned the club’s Player of the Month for March 2026 after delivering a series of standout performances that have significantly boosted the team’s promotion push.

She earned the accolade through a public vote, seeing off competition from teammates Cerys Brown, Alana Murphy, Rachel Rowe, and Joy Omewa. 

Her consistent displays, attacking sharpness, and leadership qualities proved pivotal during a demanding stretch of fixtures that tested Forest’s credentials as genuine contenders for promotion.

Boye-Hlorkah played a central role in a four-game run that saw Forest record two crucial victories and a draw, results that have kept them firmly in contention for a playoff spot in the FA Women's Championship. 

As the season edges toward its निर्ण decisive phase, her influence has become increasingly vital to the team’s ambitions of climbing into the top tier.

Her impact was particularly evident in the latter part of March, where she rose to the occasion in back-to-back wins. 

On March 22, she found the net in a composed 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town Women, scoring the second goal to seal an important three points. She followed that up with another decisive contribution on March 29, opening the scoring in a hard-fought 2-1 triumph against Durham Women.

Across the month, Boye-Hlorkah accumulated 349 minutes on the pitch, consistently posing a threat to opposition defenses with her intelligent movement, pace, and clinical finishing. 

Her ability to step up in key moments has made her one of the standout performers in the squad.

Since arriving from London City Lionesses in August 2025, Boye-Hlorkah has quickly established herself as a key figure in Forest’s attacking setup. 

She has contributed seven goals and one assist so far this season, underlining her importance as the club continues its push for promotion.
