Black Stars arrive in Kansas City for decisive World Cup Round of 32 clash with Colombia

The Black Stars have touched down in Kansas City ahead of Friday’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 match against Colombia at Kansas City Stadium.

The team departed Providence Airport at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday and arrived in Kansas City at 7:00 p.m., before checking into their team hotel.

Ghana’s arrival closes a three-week stay in Rhode Island, where the Black Stars stayed for matches against Panama, England, and Croatia during the group stage.

Ghana will face Colombia at Kansas City Stadium on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. (1:30am – Saturday - Ghana time). The fixture is a must-win for the Black Stars as they push for a place in the Round of 16.

The Black Stars go into the game looking to build on their performances in the Group stage and count on the support of Ghanaians across the United States.
