CAF Licence ‘C’ course underway in Cape Coast

Thirty-eight local coaches drawn from the Physical Education (PE) Department of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) are currently undergoing a two-week Confederation of African Football (CAF) License C course which ends on campus on July 30.

The participants, comprising students and lecturers from the university,  are being taken through training by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Technical Director, Francis Oti Akenten, CAF and FIFA Instructor, Ben Koufie, coaches Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, Professor J.K. Mintah and Anthony Kwabena Adusei.

According to Coach Oti Akenten, who is also a CAF Education Director, Black Stars goalkeepers’ trainer, Nassamu Yakubu, would also handle a session on goalkeepers’ training during the course.

He also revealed that a referees’ instructor would also be invited to take the participants through the Laws of the Game.
