Sam Clucas paid tribute to Jordan Ayew as the pair scored the goals to earn Swansea City a come-from-behind 3-1 win over Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium.
Nacho Monreal put Arsene Wenger's side ahead just after the half-hour but within two minutes Clucas had levelled the game.
Ayew put the Swans in front just after the hour-mark and despite being under the cosh for the majority of the game, Clucas' second of the night sealed the victory for Swansea with four minutes on the clock, a result which lifts them off the bottom of the Premier League table.
"We felt we could play a bit more, Arsenal give you a bit more time than Liverpool," Clucas said. "I thought we deserved the win.
"Jordan Ayew has been brilliant. The last two games he's been up there on his own. I thought we were ruthless in the second half. It's a massive result win. Every win breeds confidence."
The result follows the Welsh side's shock 1-0 win over Liverpool in their last league game and gives them a massive boost in their fight against the drop, which delighted manager Carlos Carvalhal.
"We are very happy," he said. "To win against Arsenal after beating Liverpool - I'm more than proud of my players.
"We created more chances than them. My players did fantastic work. I told them we are ready to do something different. I said after Watford we are not dead, we are breathing.
"We have a chance [of staying up]. We are not in intensive care. We are not far away from the doctor saying we can go home."
For the Gunners however, a disappointing end to a topsy-turvy month which saw them qualify for the Carabao Cup final while exiting the FA Cup at the third round.
The gap from sixth-placed Arsenal to Liverpool in fourth is now seven points, making their quest to return to the Champions League a very tough task.
