Cricket: Bel-Aqua beat Veterans
Veterans lost to Bel-Aqua by 39 runs when they only managed 170 runs for 10 wickets against Bel-Aqua’s 209 runs for 7 wickets.

Ramit Gil hit 74 runs for Bel-Aquah, while Rufus Ntiamoah made 44 runs for Veterans.
The encounter at the Achimota Cricket Oval formed part of a mixed member cricket league, designed to give players of the two squads good workout in preparation for forthcoming international assignments in August and September, this year.
Another game played at the Achimota Oval saw BGC 2 beating Force XI by 32 runs.
It was Clement Ateak who propelled BGC 2 to victory with a personal contribution of 82 runs out of a total 207 for 5 wickets in 30 overs,, while Force XI also hit 175 runs for 10 wickets with Kofi Bagabena contributing 40 runs out of that.
The highly competitive league enters its fifth week with two matches between Veterans and Bel-Aqua on the main oval, and BGC 2 vying with Force XI on the second oval on Sunday.
Supermax XI will also lock horns with RAV Solutions at the main oval, with Allrounders also clashing with Veterans later in the day.
