Don’t be intimidated by Akaminko’s injury — Razak
A former Black Stars player and coach, Abdul Razak, has advised players of the senior national team not to be intimidated by the injury of Jerry Akaminko.

He said the Stars must play their hearts out against Korea in their next international friendly on Monday in order not to be overwhelmed by the Asians.
Coach Razak, who was sharing his thoughts on Ghana’s preparations towards the World Cup in Brazil, expressed the hope that coach Kwasi Appiah would use his origional first team against the Koreans.
Starting with Ghana’s strongest team, he said would be a very good test for the players and the team, and also afford Coach Appiah to have a fair idea about his team’s preparedness and their responses to his tactics before the competition kicks off.
“Do not think that Akaminko is injured and so we wont kill ourselves. In the same way, I am not saying they should go and play without being cautious but it is important that we do not underrate the Koreans because it will not augur well for us,” Razak indicated
The 1978 African Best Footballer was, however, happy about the teams ball control ability against Holland but said the defence and particularly the attack, must be more potent and hungry for goals.
Coach Razak also mentioned, for instance, the limited number of goal scoring chances created, as well as shots at goal against The Netherlands, and hoped the situation would improve before the commencement of the World Cup.
He further called for prayers and total support for Coach Kwasi Appiah throughout the tournament.
