Aduana have suffered three straight losses since the Premier League kicked off barely a month ago, but managed to pick a home win in their last game against West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) last week at Dormaa.

“Sitting home without playing any competitive football for almost a year will definitely affect your form. The fans must understand that it’s not easy and our journalists should not blame me for not scoring any goal in all the four matches we have played so far,” he added.

In an interview with the GNA Sports at Dormaa last Wednesday, after the team’s training at the Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu Park, Yahaya said prior to signing for Aduana St, he had stayed away from competitive football  for 11 months and that long absence made him rusty.

“People who know me very well, know what I can do on a good day. So they have to exercise patience because in football anything can happen. I am a natural defender and not a striker. I was converted into a defensive midfielder and later a striker when I played for OJ Cendis in French Ligue One."

“I was in my peak form while in Libya and after playing the CAF Champions League, but my transfer delayed when I decided to join Aduana," he stated,
