Dreams FC recorded their second win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign with a convincing 2–0 victory over FC Samartex at the Tuba Astro Turf Park yesterday.
Goals in each half ensured victory for the “Still Believe” lads, while handing Samartex their first defeat of the season.
Midfielder Suraj Seidu opened the scoring in the 30th minute, finishing off a well-worked move to give Dreams the lead going into the break.
Substitute Jonathan Nemorden then put the result beyond doubt with a composed strike in the 85th minute, sealing all three points for Coach Winfred Dormon’s side.
The win was a welcome relief for Dreams FC, who have endured a slow start to the season. The result lifts them out of the relegation zone and offers renewed confidence ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
Despite their impressive start to the season, FC Samartex struggled to find their rhythm and were undone by Dreams’ discipline and determination.
The visitors will, however, look to regroup quickly as they prepare to face the Swedru All Blacks at home in their next match.
