The riders will make their first stop at Ayi Mensah, then at Maamfe, Adawso before finishing off at Koforidua.
Chain Gang has been in existence for over 19 years and has contributed immensely to the sport of cycling in Ghana over that period. With over 50 registered members and cyclists of all ages and walks of life and professions, the chain gang cycling club has been a sort of social unifier to all its members and their families.
Promoting healthy living through sport and positive recreation, the club’s message to society has been entirely beneficial as a message to the youth over the years.
Last year the charity ride to Koforidua raised Gh¢4,000 for the Kids Kingdom Charity and this year, the club hopes to raise even more for the orphanage.
The target distance for the charity ride is 86km.
