GCB sends 33 to Brazil

GCB Bank Limited has sponsored 33 supporters of the Black Stars, including three members of staff, to Brazil to cheer the national team at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Pictures of the winners of the ‘GCB 30 TO BRAZIL’ promotion indicate that the supporters, mainly customers of the bank, are satisfied with the support and quality of service and facilities offered them in Brazil.

The supporters, whose all-expense-paid package includes sight-seeing at some of Brazil’s tourist and historical sites, business meetings and shopping, left Accra on Saturday, June 14.

Other winners of the promotion who could not make it to Brazil were presented with consolation prizes in the form of Black Stars replica jerseys, footballs, and 46-inch LED television sets.

Beyond sponsoring the supporters and staff to Brazil, the bank also contributed GH¢300,000 towards Ghana’s participation in the tournament and sponsorship of live telecast of matches for Ghanaians.
