Ghana Premier League: Hearts claim first away win, Medeama slip from top spot
Hearts of Oak put on a thrilling display to stun Young Apostles 2-1 at the Nana Abrefa Nketiah Sports Stadium in Wenchi, marking their return to winning ways.

Hamza Issah's dramatic 86th-minute strike secured the Phobians’ first away victory of the season, propelling them to mid-table.
The game burst into life in the second half when Emmanuel Amankwah fired the visitors into the lead just three minutes after the break.
However, Young Apostles found a late equaliser through Samuel Prempeh, who struck in the 84th minute. Hearts, under the guidance of Coach Aboubakar Ouattara, responded swiftly, with Issah producing a sublime finish just two minutes later to restore their lead, sparking celebrations among the Phobians’ faithful.
Elsewhere, reigning champions Medeama SC suffered their first defeat of the season, relinquishing top spot to regional rivals Bibiani Gold Stars. Gold Stars continued their unbeaten run, holding Nations FC to a 1-1 draw in Abrankese, Ashanti Region.
Medeama's woes deepened as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Dalvin Yeboah opened the scoring for Bechem after just five minutes, and Emmanuel Abban doubled the lead with a 43rd-minute strike, securing the victory.
This loss means Medeama are now without a win in three consecutive matches, while Bechem United climbed to ninth on the table.
Gold Stars, meanwhile, climbed to the top of the league after securing a valuable point in a 1-1 draw with Nations FC at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Faisal Chawetey gave Nations FC the lead in the 34th minute, but Kelvin Oppong equalised with nine minutes remaining, ensuring Gold Stars’ fine form continues.

At the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park, Aduana FC finally recorded their first win of the season, comfortably defeating Dreams FC 2-0.
Two second-half goals from Emmanuel Marfo in the 47th minute and Abubakar Adams in the 89th minute saw the ‘Ogya’ lads climb to 13th on the table, while Dreams FC plunged to a perilous 17th position.
Basake Holy Stars grabbed their second win of the season with a narrow 1-0 victory over Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, Aiyinase. Prince Opoku's 77th-minute strike separated the two sides, ending Holy Stars’ three-game losing streak.
The win lifted them to 12th on the table, while Karela sit 14th with five points.
In other action, Accra Lions were held to a 1-1 draw by Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon.
Ali Mohammed gave Lions the lead in the 57th minute, but Stephen Amankona quickly restored parity for Chelsea, as both sides settled for a point.
Accra Lions remain unbeaten with two wins and three draws.
At Kpando Stadium, Heart of Lions were forced to settle for their fourth consecutive draw after a goalless stalemate against newly promoted Vision FC.
Meanwhile, FC Samartex 1996's clash with Nsoatreman FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena was rained off and is set to be played today.
