Hearts of Oak transfer winger Saani Mohammed to Danish side AC Horsens
Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak have transferred winger Saani Mohammed to Danish First Division club AC Horsens.
The 18-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Danish outfit, with the transfer fee reported to be €250,000.
Hearts of Oak confirmed the transfer through their social media channels on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, and expressed their gratitude to the young player.
“Thank you, Saani Mohammed! We announce the transfer of Saani Mohammed to AC Horsens. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we are proud to have been part of your development. We wish you all the best in this new chapter of your career,” the statement read.
Saani, known for his dynamism and skill, will now aim to help AC Horsens secure promotion to Denmark’s top-tier Superliga, as the club currently sits fourth in the First Division with 31 points after the first half of the season.
The winger joined Hearts of Oak in August 2024 from lower-tier side Soccer4Souls, and during his short stint, he made 13 appearances for the club, contributing two assists in the 2024/25 season.
Hearts of Oak are currently fifth in the Ghana Premier League standings after 16 matches played.
