Hearts secure narrow win over Nations FC
Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Nations FC at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium last Saturday.
The win has eased pressure on Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who lost 0-2 against Karela last Sunday and will help strengthen their push toward the top of the table.
The decisive moment came in the second half when Hamza Issah powered home a commanding header to break the deadlock and secure all three points for the Phobians in a tightly contested encounter.
The opening half was evenly balanced, with both sides showing intent but struggling to carve out clear-cut chances. Nations FC remained compact and disciplined at the back, while Hearts enjoyed more possession but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.
The scoreline remained goalless at the break, setting the stage for a more purposeful display after the interval.

Hearts emerged with renewed urgency in the second half and were duly rewarded when Issah rose highest to meet a well-delivered cross, directing a thumping header past the Nations goalkeeper to spark celebrations among the home supporters.
The victory lifts Hearts of Oak to fourth place on the Premier League table, just three points behind leaders Aduana FC, and keeps them firmly in the title race.
