Judo congress on March 5

The Ghana Judo Association will hold its congress on March 5, 2015 at the media centre of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The gathering of stakeholders in Judo sports will also witness the election for new executive for the association.

A statement signed by the General Secretary of the association, Mr R. O. Lamptey  and copied to the Daily Graphic urged all stakeholder groups to submit the names of selected representatives to the association’s secretariat by February 27, 2015.

It  mentioned the positions to be contested as president, vice president,  treasurer, executive member and  said nomination forms for aspiring candidates must be completed and submitted before the start of the congress on March 5, 2015.

The statement further stressed that eligible voters at the congress would comprise only delegates from each stakeholder group.
