Kotoko to wallop Hearts 5-0 - Opoku Nti Predicts
The acting Chef Executive of uncrowned league champions, Asante Kotoko has predicted a 5-0 thumping of arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in Sunday’s showdown at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Despite winning the First Capital Plus Premier League with two games to spare, a victory over Hearts in the penultimate week fixture will serve as the icing on Kotoko’s cake after three back-to-back triumphs.

Launching an 'operation five goals' in Kumasi, on the back of Hearts’ inconsistent form this season, Kotoko CEO, Opoku Nti, said he was burdened to overturn a 4-0 thrashing the Porcupine Warriors suffered at the hands of the Phobians in a league match in Accra 14 years ago.
Kotoko, he said, were encouraged by the apparent disintegration and poor performance of Hearts ahead of their June 1 showdown.
“If we beat Heart 3-0, it will be no news. And even if we beat them 4-0, I will not be a happy man because we would have only equalled that score line. The only way to silence them is to score at least 5-0, which is achievable,” Opoku Nti said on Fox FM, a Kumasi-based radio station.
He said confidently that the current Kotoko squad was comparable to the dreaded Hearts team of 2000, featuring the feared striking duo of Ishmael Addo and Emmanuel Osei Kuffour, who helped Hearts rule Africa by winning the 2000 CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup in 2001.
The CEO said the anticipated victory was one of the gifts Kotoko intended to present to their Life Patron and owner, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as he marks the 15th anniversary celebration of his enstoolment.
