Kotoko won’t travel at night again - PRO
The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has reviewed the travelling schedule for the club’s competitive and friendly matches with a resolve not to travel at night anymore.
According to management, the team will no more travel at night before and after matches.
Management also gave an assurance to support the surviving families of the deceased and those who were injured during the accident.

After their Premier League match against Inter Allies at the El-Wak Stadium on July 12, last year, the team bus, carrying a contingent of 15 players, seven technical officials and two journalists crashed into a stationary truck on the Nkawkaw-Kumasi dual carriageway, killing the deputy equipment officer, Mr Thomas Obeng Asare.
In the process, the Team Manager of the club, Mr Godwin Ablordey, Coach Steven Polack and the driver of the bus, Nana Berkye, also sustained various degrees of injury.
