Lady Captain wins March Medal
The lady captain of Achimota Golf Club, Peace Akwei, for the second time running, reigned supreme in the club’s monthly competition.

The newly-elected lady captain shot a 70 net score to lift the ultimate bronze prize.
Following closely behind the 22 handicapper was Lucy Jonck, who recorded a 73 net.
A course par score of 67 handed the first prize to Switzerland-based Ama Siegrist, while Yaa Sarfo Debra came second with a 72 net score.
The lady captain later described the event as a huge success, taking into account the high patronage of players from the Tema Country Golf Club, as well as host Achimota.
The competition received a massive sponsorship from Mobile Content Company Limited.
The CEO of Mobile Content Company, Mr John Totoe, hinted that the support was part of his outfit’s corporate social responsibility to support golf in the country.
