Martha, Graphic Sports win at Sports Excellence Awards.

The maiden edition of the Ghana Sports Excellence Awards (GSEA) came-off last Friday with juvenile golden athlete, Martha Bissah, lifting the flagship Best Sports Personality award, while the Graphic Sports was honoured with three awards.

The Graphic Sports honours came from the Best Print Media award category with Emmanuel Quaye and Kweku Zurek, journalists of the paper, claiming the Best Photographer (Print) and Best Reporter (Print) awards respectively.

His Excellency, the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, was also honoured with the Best Community Sports Contributor award.

The Awards, organised by Hallmark Plus Multimedia with support from Divino Event Organisation and Elite Sports Ghana and designed to reward sporting excellence on and off the pitch, were held at the British Council in Accra.
