Olivans fitness club opens at Agbogba

Former Black Stars forward, Augustine Arhinful, has advised people with interest in sports-related exercises to seek medical advice before indulging in such fitness workout.

Arhinful, who was speaking at a ceremony to mark the inauguration of the plush Olivans Fitness Club and Laundry, situated at Agbogba in Accra, also urged participants to take their fitness exercises serious.

The event was graced by many sports personalities including former Black Stars skippers, Joe Addo and Charles Kobina Akonnor and goalkeeper Abukari Damba among others.
Arhinful was happy about the increased interest of Ghanaians in walking, aerobics, gyming and other fitness exercises .

Inaugurating the ultra modern fitness and wellness facility, the General Overseer of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry, Rev. Steve Mensah, asked Christians and the general public to prioritise both their physical and spiritual well-being in the quest for salvation and asked people living within the Agbogba enclave to patronise the facility to stay healthy.

The General Manager of the facility, David Jonah,said the aim ofestablishing the centre was to help bring the message of keeping fit to the doorstep of the people and said diseases could be avoided with the right fitness instructions, guidance and regular exercises.
