Saka reinstated as Aduana capt
Dormaa-based Aduana Stars could resuscitate their winning form this weekend due to the peaceful atmosphere in camp with the reinstatement of their captain Godfred Saka, who was stripped of the captaincy for gross misconduct.

The loyal Aduana skipper was stripped of the captaincy when he had an altercation with his team manager after the team lost against Inter Allies.
The Chief Executive Officer of the club, Albert Commey, confirmed to the Graphic Sports Tuesday that Saka had been reinstated but indicated that his salary had been slashed as part of the sanctions.
The decision, according to Mr Commey, was arrived at after the Aduana right back had shown remorse.
The club’s CEO debunked speculations that the withdrawal of the right back’s captaincy was part of the factors contributing to their bad start to the league but expressed worry at the prevailing situation facing the team.
Mr Commey explained that after recruiting 13 new players this season, it would take time for the team to adapt to the group dynamics.
“What is happening now is worrying but if you have almost 50 per cent of the team being new, its difficult but we are working at it”, stressing that “with the return of Coach Chioba Aristika, I am positive the team will pick up half way through”.
Aduana Stars had taken the Ghana Premier League by storm when they first joined almost 10 years ago and won the competition.

They have since not performed badly until this season. The teams have lost their first three matches against Inter Allies at Tema, All Stars in Wa and recently against Brong Ahafo rivals, Techiman City.
The team’s CEO gave all assurance that the team was responding very well to the new coach and appealed to the fans to exercise restraint as the management and all stakeholders of Aduana work dilligently to get back to winning ways.
