Simone Biles celebrates her father's 75th birthday
Simone Biles, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist, recently marked a special milestone for her father, Ronald Biles, as he celebrated his 75th birthday.
On Saturday, August 24, Biles shared a touching tribute on her Instagram Stories, posting a photo of her father dressed in a Cleveland Browns jersey, surrounded by brown and orange balloons in what appeared to be the family’s living room in Texas. "My dad is the cutest, happy 75th," she captioned the image.

The Biles family had already begun the celebrations earlier in the month during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
On Ronald’s actual birthday, August 8, Simone posted a series of photos on Instagram, including a close-up of seven champagne glasses, and a selfie featuring her signature "GOAT" necklace and bedazzled sunglasses. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD," she wrote in one of the posts.
Simone's sister, Adria Biles, also joined in the celebrations, sharing photos on Instagram that highlighted one of Ronald’s birthday gifts—a gold Death Row Records necklace from Snoop Dogg. In a playful caption, Adria wrote, "Snoop gave him a chain now he doesn't know how to act." She added, "75 looks great on you! Happy birthday, I love you."
The family also attended track and field events that day, where Ronald was spotted wearing a red "Team USA" hat and holding a chocolate cake with candles that read "Happy Birthday."
The celebrations didn’t stop there. Simone revealed on Threads that her parents had surprised her with a stylish gift in Paris—an Hermès bag. “My parents bought me my Hermès bag,” the gymnast wrote. “Don’t be mad at me, be mad at your parents.”
Simone has always been open about her close bond with her parents, Ronald and Nellie, who adopted her and her sister Adria when Simone was six years old.

During the Tokyo Olympics in July 2021, Simone credited her parents with supporting her through the ups and downs of her career, particularly when she withdrew from several events to focus on her mental health.
"Thanks for making sacrifices since day one so I can live out my dream," Simone wrote at the time. "But most importantly, thanks for always being there for me through all the highs and lows. You guys are the absolute best. I love y'all."
