The team, including assistant coach Maxwell Konadu, goalkeepers’ trainer Nassam Yakubu, team physician Dr Adam Baba, GFA Deputy General Secretary  in charge of intenerational relations, Alex Asante and Wa All Stars shotstopper, Richard Ofori, left Accra last Saturday.

They will be joined by the rest of the team invited by head coach Avram Grant.

The Black Stars, who are in the same group as Uganda, Egypt and Congo, were held by the Ugandans in their opening qualifier in Tamale while the Egyptians won their clash with the Congolese, thus making Sunday’s game with the Pharaohs in Alexandria  a make or break affair for the Stars as they attempt to make their fourth successive FIFA world Cup appearance in Russia in 2018.
