Techiman City to stop Wa All Stars on Sunday
The 11th week fixture of the Ghana’s Premier League, which is generating great interest among football fans, will see Techiman City hosting current league leaders, Wa All Stars in a mouth-watering encounter at the Nana Ameyaw Park at Techiman.

All Stars, who suffered their second away loss in the league after they were beaten by Medeama last Sunday at the Essipong Stadium, will seek to vent their spleen on Coach Yusif Abubakar and his charges who have turned the Ameyaw park into a lions den.
Despite losing last weekend, All Stars, popularly known as “The Blues”, have been on top of the table for more than six weeks with 20 points but they will face stiff opposion from Techiman City who are yet to lose at Techiman.
After their shocking 0-1 defeat to Kumasi Asante Kotoko last Monday, Accra Hearts of Oak will trek to Berekum where they will seek to overpower Berekum Chelsea with the view to appease their fans.
Kumasi football fans are likely to troop to the Baba Yara stadium in their numbers to witness the encounter between their idol club Kumasi Asante Kotoko and bottom club, Ebusua Dwarfs, while a resuscitated Aduana Stars, who collected the maximum points at the expense of Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf park at Dansoman last Sunday, will engage Kurt Okraku’s Dreams FC at their favourite Agyeman Badu Park.
Other matches likely to generate interest are the encounters between Sekondi Hasaacas and New Edubiase at Sekondi stadium, as well as the Ashantigold-Bechem United match at the Len Clay Stadium.
WAFA will also host Tema-based International Allies at Sogakope as they hope to add the visitors to their list of victims on their slippery astro turf.
The game between Tarkwa-based Medeama SC and Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals has been postponed to enable the former to travel to South Africa to play Mamelodi Sundowns in the first-leg of their CAF Confederation Cup play-off at the Lucas ‘Masterpieces’ Moripe Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday.
