A veteran player himself, Timothy has worn many hats in the sport — umpire, coach, mentor, and administrator; each role reflecting his unwavering commitment to the game.

As a coach, Timothy has become a trusted guide for young players, nurturing talent and instilling discipline and sportsmanship in the next generation.

Under his watchful eye, countless children have taken their first steps in table tennis, learning not just techniques, but the values that make champions both on and off the table. His impact on grassroots development has been profound, earning him respect from players and fellow coaches alike.

Timothy’s passion for table tennis has also taken him beyond Ghana’s borders. He has previously represented Ghana as part of the veterans’ team, competing in international tournaments in Togo and Benin, showcasing the skill and determination of Ghanaian table tennis players on a wider stage. 

His experiences as a player and mentor continue to inspire those around him, bridging generations and fostering a strong sense of community within the sport.

In addition to his coaching and playing roles, Timothy serves as the Deputy Regional Chairman of the Ashanti Table Tennis Club. In this capacity, he has worked tirelessly to strengthen the organizational structure of the club, promoting competitions, training programs, and initiatives that ensure the sport thrives across the region. His leadership is marked by a combination of vision, experience, and a genuine love for table tennis.
