The outcome of this encounter will determine whether they secure a spot in the semi-finals of the TotalEnergies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

In Sunday's game against Congo, the 20-year-old Yeboah delivered an outstanding performance, earning the man of the match accolade with two goals and an assist. Despite the team almost surrendering a 3-0 lead in the dying moments of the match, Yeboah's contributions proved pivotal to their victory.

During a post-match interview, the CFR Club player emphasized the team's need to remain focused in order to achieve their objectives in the competition. Yeboah expressed his delight when he learned that they would be facing the North African side, considering Morocco's formidable reputation in African football.

"It is against such formidable opponents that we truly grow. We couldn't afford any slip-ups against Congo, and our momentum will only strengthen as the tournament progresses," Yeboah remarked confidently.

Reflecting on his exceptional performance, the winger revealed that the moment his coach called upon him to enter the game, he recognized it as his opportunity to showcase his abilities to the Ghanaian supporters and the wider world.

Yeboah came off the bench in the second half and played a crucial role in securing victory for the Black Meteors, contributing to three goals. Grateful for the collective fighting spirit displayed by his teammates, he attributed his success to their unwavering support.

"I cannot claim sole credit for my performance. I feel privileged to be part of a team where I genuinely consider each player as my brother," Yeboah expressed gratefully.

Ghana's encounter against hosts Morocco is scheduled for today (June 27, 2023) at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium. With their sights set on the ultimate prize, the Black Meteors are determined to overcome their opponents and progress further in the tournament.
