VIDEO: Antoine Semenyo's goal ignites Bournemouth's comeback victory at Everton
Antoine Semenyo was the catalyst for Bournemouth’s stunning 3-2 comeback win against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, reversing the outcome of a match that seemed out of reach.
Everton appeared to have secured the win after quickfire goals from Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin gave them a 2-0 lead. But with time running out, Semenyo stepped up to change the game.

In the 87th minute, Semenyo struck to reduce Bournemouth's deficit, sparking the visitors' revival. Just two minutes into stoppage time, Lewis Cook found the equalizer, and moments later, Luis Sinisterra sealed the win with a goal deep into injury time.
This dramatic collapse marked a historic first in the Premier League, as Everton became the only team to lose a game after holding a two-goal lead as late as the 87th minute. The result also prolonged Sean Dyche's winless streak in August as Everton manager, now standing at six games.
Semenyo's excellent start to the season continued with his crucial goal against Everton. The Ghanaian forward now has two goals and an assist in three league matches, underscoring his growing influence at Bournemouth under manager Andoni Iraola.
Semenyo is set to join the Black Stars for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers before returning to Bournemouth for their upcoming Premier League fixture against Chelsea.
