Wakaso joins GFA Prez to lay wreath on behalf of football fraternity
A close friend and former national teammate of Christian Atsu, Mubarak Wakaso, joined Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to lay a wreath on behalf of the football fraternity at the funeral of Christian Atsu at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on Friday.
Mr Okraku laid his wreath as part of eight others which included one from the family, wife, children, state, Lighthouse Chapel International, Ada Traditional Council, Hatayspor FC and Turkish Embassy in Ghana.

Wakaso, a confidante of the late Atsu arrived in the country from his Belgium base on time to pay his last respect to the fallen footballer.
The Eupen midfielder has been instrumental in the funeral arrangement of his late friend having made donations to the family.
Wakaso has continuously expressed sadness of the demise of his late friend since the news of his passing in the Turkey earthquake last month.
The duo have publicly shared fond memories of their friendship on social until his sudden demise in Turkey while playing for Hatayspor.
