Why Jordan Ayew is not panicking about goal drought

He is yet to score a goal for Crystal Palace, but Jordan Ayew says he is confident that his reward will come.

The Ghanaian international has not yet found the net in a Palace shirt since joining the Eagles on loan from Swansea City in August.

He has played six times for Palace in the Premier League this season, with his latest appearance coming against Arsenal on Sunday in the 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park.

But the 27-year-old says he is not concerned by his lack of goals since joining the club, with the on-loan man vowing to keep trying to help the team.

"The most important thing for me is to work for the team and to make sure the team win," he said in an interview published on the club's website .

"My personal view is that the goals will come when they come. I'm not stressed or panicked at all. I just keep on working hard and I'll get rewarded one day.

"We know we have confidence in ourselves. This league is not easy but [against Arsenal] we had a good performance and we'll build on that.

And Ayew felt that Palace deserved more for their efforts against the Gunners, having battled back from 2-1 down to claim a point in the London derby.

"I think we deserved three points but that's part of the game. We had some unlucky moments but they're part of the game too.

"A point is good, good for the confidence. We'll see what will happen next."
