The break was to allow for two national teams, the Black Princesses and Queens complete their 2016 Under-20 Women’s World Cup and Olympic qualifiers respectively.

While the Princesses have advanced and will regroup to play Equatorial Guinea in October, the Queens have been eliminated by Cameroun. This thus paves the way for the resumption of the Women’s league.

When the competition resumes, Soccer Intellectuals who lead the southern zone log, will host Immigration Ladies on Sunday, Hasaacas Ladies will host Blessed Ladies on Saturday while Police Ladies also host LadyStrikers on Saturday.

In the northern zone, Ashtown Ladies play Fabulous Ladies in a local derby, Dreamz are hosts to Ampem Darkoa Ladies while nothern zone leaders, Prisons Ladies are guests to Lepo Ladies.
