Women's Rep on GFA ExCO Mrs Oware-Mensah marks birthday with donation, free health screening
The Women's Football Representative on the Executive Committee (ExCO) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mrs Gifty Afia Oware-Mensah celebrated her birthday on Thursday, July 4, with a series of philanthropic activities across Accra.
Known for her dedication and service, Mrs Oware_Mensah, who is also the Deputy Director of the National Service Scheme, took her special occasion to give back to the community in meaningful ways.

The day began with Mrs Oware-Mensah and her husband and Legal Practitioner, Mr Peter Mensah visiting the New Life Children's Home at Nungua, where she donated essential supplies to support the children. Her act of kindness set a positive tone for the day's events, highlighting her commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged in society.
Together with her team, Mrs Oware-Mensah then made her way to the University of Ghana Hospital, where she continued her charitable endeavors by donating medical supplies and equipment.
The gesture was aimed at enhancing the hospital's capacity to provide quality healthcare services to patients, reflecting her deep concern for public health.
In addition to her contributions to the hospital, Mrs Oware-Mensah also visited the Madina Mosque, where she made another generous donation. Her visit to the mosque underscored her inclusive approach to community service, recognizing and supporting diverse groups within society.
The celebrations continued in Madina, where she organised a free health screening exercise for residents at the Madina Astroturf.
The initiative provided residents with access to essential health checks, promoting wellness and preventive care within the community.
