Yeboah sells out club
Black Stars legend, Tony Yeboah, says he has washed his hands off football administration after selling his Division One club, Yegoala FC, out of frustration.
He said Yegoala F/C had been a victim of a conspiracy by referees because of his refusal to pay bribes.

The former Ghanaian international told the Graphic Sports that he was unsure whether he would return to football administration in any form anytime soon, saying his energies currently were being channelled into his hotel and other businesses, as well as his new passion, golf.
Yeboah said he initially scoffed at threats by some match officials who told him they would ensure that his team was relegated because of his refusal to play ball.
“I thought they were joking, but true to their words they ganged up against my team, and eventually we were relegated,” he alleged .
The former Eintracht Frankfurt and Leeds United star, refused to disclose the identities of the referees who often trooped to his hotel to demand bribes in return for favourable results for Yegoala FC.
Yeboah said he abhored corruption in football and knew also that yielding to monetary demands of the referees would dent the image he had taken years to build.
Yeboah’s allegations were corroborated by his former Kumasi Cornerstone and Black Stars teammate, Frimpong Manso, who admitted that some corrupt referees were behind the relegation of Yegoala FC to the lower division.
