Absa Group CEO reaffirms commitment to Ghana’s operations
The Group Chief Executive Officer of Absa Group, Arrie Rautenbach, has reaffirmed the group’s commitment to its Ghana’s operations.
Mr Rautenbach led a group of senior executives to the country to promote the significance of the Group’s Ghana operations, to its strategy of being a leading bank in Africa.
In a release issued by the bank, it said during his two-day visit, Rautenbach engaged in a series of high-level discussions.
“He met with Ghana's President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, and Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Elsie Addo Awadzie.
These meetings emphasised Absa's commitment to Ghana's growth and development, highlighting the bank’s appreciation for the support of these institutions to its operations,” it said.
The release said the visiting delegation’s agenda also included focused interactions with Absa colleagues.
