Access Bank rewards customers in mini draw
Access Bank has rewarded some new and existing customers of the bank in its second mini draw of the “abusua akyɛdeɛ promo” held in Accra last Friday.
The draw witnessed the Enam Afi Mana Aidam family emerging as winners of an educational scholarship prize in the group draw, while Almufarik enterprise and Solidere investments emerged as top winners to secure an insurance package worth over GH¢50,000.
Prior to the event, hundreds of customers who entered the promotion received automatic rewards including interest rate of eight per cent on high savings, free one year life insurance cover, up to 60 per cent discount on car, home and personal accident insurance among others.
Speaking during the event, Group Head of Personal Banking at Access Bank, Mrs Matilda Asante-Asiedu, noted that the promo which had just entered its 10th week had so far recorded thousands of participants as it sought to influence the savings attitude of Ghanaians and promote financial inclusion.
She said, “The public has embraced this unique promotion that is also strengthening the bonds of families and friends. Everywhere we go across the country, people are eager to sign on and start a savings culture for themselves and their families. We expect those who have joined to keep depositing to increase their chances of winning in our 1st mega draw which has a 4x4 for grabs”.
The draw, which was supervised by National Lottery Authority (NLA), also rewarded over 20 other families/ groups and SMEs with prizes, including free shopping spree vouchers, desktop computers, fire proof safes and money counting machines.
On the theme “Save today, take tomorrow”, Access Bank’s “Abusua Akyede3” promo will reward over 5,000 of the bank’s existing and new customers during the promo period including families/ groups and SMEs.
To participate in the promo, a group of customers came together to create a group of at least two friends or family members/relatives and maintained a group balance of GH¢500 or more to qualify to win. Groups then had to keep depositing into these accounts to increase their chances of winning any of the prizes on offer.
SME customers will get the opportunity to qualify for any of the four monthly and two mega draws in the promo by maintaining a minimum deposit of GH¢1,000 or more in their Access Bank business account and also when they refer their suppliers and distributors to open an account with the Bank.
The “Abusua Akyɛde” promo is in partnership with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) under the Caritas platform, Auto Parts, Wapic Insurance and Ghana Life.
