Anker Innovations picks Accra-based iSupreme to drive expansion in West Africa

iSupreme, a fast-growing marketing and growth agency based in Accra, has been appointed as the regional agency partner for global consumer electronics firm Anker Innovations as the technology company expands its presence in Ghana and across West Africa.

The partnership will see the Ghanaian agency lead marketing, sales enablement and market growth initiatives for Anker’s portfolio of consumer technology brands across key markets in the sub-region.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in China, Anker Innovations has built an international reputation for high-speed charging technology and premium power solutions. Its product ecosystem includes the flagship charging brand Anker, audio brand Soundcore, smart home brand Eufy and portable projector brand Nebula.

Under the agreement, iSupreme will coordinate integrated marketing campaigns, influencer engagement, retail activations and experiential marketing programmes aimed at strengthening brand awareness and accelerating the adoption of Anker products in Ghana and neighbouring markets. The agency will also support brand development and strategic go-to-market execution as the company scales its operations in the region.

Industry analysts say West Africa is increasingly attracting global consumer electronics companies due to rising smartphone penetration, improving digital connectivity and a rapidly expanding youthful population. However, they note that expansion in the region often depends on local insight and partnerships capable of translating global brand strategies into campaigns that resonate with local consumers.

Founded by Ghanaian entrepreneur Clinton Nyarkoh, iSupreme has built a reputation over the past seven years for helping international brands enter and grow within the Ghanaian market. The agency operates across five integrated service areas — Content, Influence, Brand, Experience and Growth — focusing on adapting global brand messaging to suit local audiences.

The appointment follows a number of collaborations between the agency and international companies seeking to expand their footprint in Ghana. The firm previously worked with global payments technology company Flutterwave on brand visibility and market engagement initiatives.

It has also partnered with ride-hailing platform Yango on large-scale driver acquisition campaigns as the company expanded operations in Ghana. In the mobility sector, the agency supported the market growth of Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Sonlink Motor within the country’s transport ecosystem.

Beyond technology and mobility, the firm has played a role in the entry and expansion of several international restaurant brands in Ghana, including RocoMamas, Pizza Inn, Chicken Inn, Ocean Basket and Galito’s.

Through these collaborations, the agency has developed experience in helping multinational brands adapt their marketing strategies and customer engagement models to African markets.

As part of the new partnership, iSupreme will work closely with Anker’s regional distributors, retailers and business partners to strengthen product awareness and demand across Ghana and surrounding markets. Planned initiatives are expected to include influencer-led campaigns, experiential retail activations, strategic brand partnerships and digital advertising designed to highlight the performance and reliability of Anker’s product ecosystem, including chargers, power banks, wireless audio devices, smart home technology and portable entertainment products.

The partnership comes at a time when Ghana and the wider West African region are drawing increasing interest from global technology brands seeking to tap into emerging consumer markets. Marketing agencies capable of bridging global brand strategy with local market realities are therefore becoming an important part of expansion strategies.
