The facility is expected to provide customers with electronic banking services to ease the processes at the financial institution.

The centre houses the hardware, software and auxiliary data services of the Internet and wide area network of the financial institution.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BEIGE Capital, Mr Mike Nyinaku, told newsmen during a tour of the facility that it would enable the company to serve its customer efficiently, even if uptake increases to five million.

“What we have done is to invest in a platform that can serve as many as five million customers in the future. This is because we are looking at the projection of our growth, where we want to go and what we need to do to get there,” he said.

BoG commends

The Information Technology (IT) Auditor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Mr Samuel Okai, expressed satisfaction about the ultra-modern facility.

“Looking at the equipment installed in the facility, you can see it would take a company that knows where it is going to establish such a facility,” he said.

He underscored the need for companies in the country to embrace the use of technology to provide fast and efficient service to its clients.

“Technology has changed the accounting and management system of a number of banks. And it is now changing the manner in which banks deliver services to their customers,” he said.
