Basil David Anthony named among 100 Most Influential Young Africans

Ghanaian entrepreneur Basil David Anthony, CEO of Modern Floors and Walls, has been recognised as one of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans in the prestigious Africa 100 League of Exceptionals 2025. 

The honour, bestowed by the Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation, acknowledges young leaders making significant contributions to their industries and communities through innovation and leadership.

Anthony’s recognition underscores his impact in the home, décor, building, and construction sectors across Ghana and beyond. 

Under his leadership, Modern Floors and Walls was named the 2024 Home & Décor Winner at the Ghana Business Awards, cementing its reputation for excellence in design and customer service.

His achievements include winning the Mentor of the Youth Award at the Ghana Philanthropy Awards (2024), being named among the Top 50 Young CEOs in Ghana (2023), and securing the Africa Forty Under 40 Award in the Home & Décor Category (2024). Additionally, he is a published author of Dream Bigger: The Young Entrepreneurs Journal, a book aimed at inspiring Africa’s next generation of business leaders.

Reacting to the honour, Anthony said, “Being named among Africa’s most influential young leaders is a humbling and powerful reminder of what’s possible with faith, consistency, and purpose. I’m proud to represent Ghana and dedicate this recognition to all young Africans who are building something from the ground up. GOD has truly been the GREATEST!”

The Africa 100 League of Exceptionals 2025 Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 12th April 2025 at the British Council in Accra.
