Panellists at a conference organised by Docutech Limited, a leader in innovative IT solutions, have called on businesses to adopt risk-based approach to cybersecurity to safeguard their operations in the digital age.

That, they said, will enable organisations to protect their assets effectively while optimising resource allocation and maintaining operational efficiency.

The speakers at the conference dubbed,  Future of Work, included Cybersecurity Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Clement Yayra Tettey; the Head of Technical Services at NITA, Solomon Richardson; the CEO & Founder of EDEL Technology Consulting, Ethel Cofie, and the Managed Document Specialist at Xerox Middle East & Africa, Paul Hanmer.

Speaking at the conference, the Managing Director of Docutech Limited, Jean Louis Feghali, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to drive innovation in Ghana’s IT landscape where businesses can thrive by embracing technological change.

The conference, on the theme: "Unleashing the Power of Emerging Technologies" brought together industry experts, business leaders, and key stakeholders to discuss the impact of emerging technologies on driving business value and growth in Ghana and beyond.

It was marked by thought-provoking panel discussions, live demonstrations of cutting-edge IT solutions, and meaningful networking opportunities for attendees from various sectors.

He said the increased digital adoption, highlighted how essential it was for professionals to stay updated on the latest trends and standards, particularly when it came to data security and workforce training.

He stressed the importance of constant training and investment in employee development to ensure businesses remain competitive and secure in a fast-changing technological environment.

Workforce 

Mr Cofie advised businesses to approach digital transformation strategically to remain competitive in an ever-evolving market. 

For instance, she said businesses needed to fully engage their entire workforce in the digitisation process to ensure that everyone was aligned with technology-driven decisions.

It can also help in drafting good strategies that support future growth.

She said by ensuring that the workforce was engaged and unified in the digital transformation journey, businesses were better equipped to deliver value and remain competitive in the evolving market.
